This past week, we had the pleasure of supporting – and starring in! – a dazzling luncheon and fashion show over in our neighboring town of Victoria.

On September 17th, the 16th Annual Fall Luncheon & Style Show – themed “Ballads, Boots, & Bling” – was hosted by the Victoria Symphony League, which ultimately benefits the Victoria Symphony Orchestra.

“Giving back has always been an important part of our DNA,” said Audrey. “In a community this size, we are contributing to folks and organizations that are quite literally our friends and neighbors. We include Victoria in that, of course; they’re Yoakum’s next-door neighbors, we grew up there, and some of our employees live there, so we definitely consider it part of our home. The arts are so important and constantly in jeopardy from a lack of funding; we’re honored to support the symphony, and our girls did a great job representing!”

Double D Ranch sponsored a table in support of their fundraising efforts, and part of the fun was that sponsors each got to decorate their own table. Madalyn Hanslik (a newbie in the marketing department, if you haven’t met her yet) did a fantastic job creating a very on-brand tablescape featuring sterling silver décor, some lovely florals, and of course, our signature longhorn plates and Walker napkins.

And our table wasn’t the only thing showing of some DDR! Two of our own (and a friend) strutted their stuff in the style show. Courtney Greener (marketing) donned the Etta Dress in olive, Jill Jacob (customer service) rocked the Sidekick Jacket with the Ada Blouse and Spur’em Boots, Dayna Wiles (a precious friend of Jill’s) was darling in the Bar Room Buddies Dress and Rodeo Sweetheart Boots, and Madalyn Hanslik (marketing) dazzled in the Ada Blouse, and Rag Proper Pant. (We’re pretty partial, but we thought they were the cutest ones!)

Congratulations to the Victoria Symphony Society on a successful event – we were honored to be a part of it!
