SANTA CLAUS FOR A CAUSE

The Fort Worth festivities continue! Santa’s stopping by the Stockyards store and not only will it be a good time, it’ll also benefit a good cause. Mark your calendars to stop by and see us for a holly jolly feel-good Friday night at the flagship store!

“This is something we’ve been talking about doing since we opened our Stockyards store,” said Cheryl. “Renee Davis is a longtime friend of the brand and it’s she and her husband Gene do the whole cowboy Santa thing all over Texas, and we finally were on the ball enough this year to snag a spot on their calendar! Who doesn’t love Santa? Plus, what gets you in the holiday spirit more than contributing to your community?”

So here’s the skinny:
Friday, December 6th from 4-7p.m. we will have a fabulous Santa and Mrs. Claus in store in Fort Worth for photo opps and general merrymaking, and as if that’s not reason enough to pop in, we’re also going to be donating 20% of all purchases made during the event to an organization called Freedom House, which provides emergency shelter and services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Parker County.

Why Freedom House? Well, unfortunately, domestic violence historically spikes during the holidays due to added financial stressors, family triggers, and of course, an increase in alcohol consumption. Therefore, the organizations providing shelter and resources are in greater need than ever for our financial support. As a women-owned, women-led business, we feel compelled to contribute to our sisters who are enduring such strife.
