Saddle brown, that is. This season introduces softer, warmer shades that feel fit for the stable.
The whole equine/equestrian undercurrent of this collection naturally lends itself to hues with a bit of a horsey feel, colors that take you back to the tack room or feel reminiscent of the coat of a colt; we even got literal with a classic chrome pony print. They span from caramel-y to chocolatey, and a few pieces veer into a reddened sorrel sector of the color wheel.
Shifting to slightly lighter and softer browns felt key in complementing the powder blues and soft chambrays that are the signature of the season, and they’re married together by the presence of warm winter whites and creamy khakis.
Fret not, though, friends, the black-brown bronco pieces you’ve committed to from collections past will still pair perfectly with this palette, especially in punctuating pops, like a boot, scarf, or even jacket.
