ALL EYES ON ELLA

Ella Langley is absolutely everywhere. She is taking the country music scene by storm, and she was the most nominated artist at the Academy of Country Music awards this past Sunday. Oh yeah, and she has a pretty solid sense of style, too! *wink*

“We met her in Helotes in November,” shared Leeann Wenske, our social media guru and wrangler of the marketing team. “Our relationship just kind of grew from there. At that meeting, she immediately fell in love with the Salt & Pepper Duster, she put it on right away. And then, the design team worked with her stylist to create the custom look for her for the ACMs. What an honor to dress her for such a big night!”

That’s right, at the renowned event on May 8th, Ella absolutely ROCKED some jaw-dropping DDR we created just for her.

“The custom performance pieces that were designed are true works of couture,” explained designer Claire Kiser. “These are one of kind garments that exist nowhere else. They were hand-sewn and patterned specifically for Ella's stature. The python was chosen because it felt gritty and glamorous, just like Ella. We also knew it would shine on stage. Ella loves a good Penny Lane moment, so the Mongolian fur was a must on the jacket, adding a level of groovy that she always seems to channel on stage. And of course, no look is complete without fringe. We added 12-inch fringe to the pants to make sure she had movement on stage.”

And shine she did! The talented 26-year-old took home four trophies from the ACMs that night.

In addition to her custom stage ‘fit, Ella was spotted in a fan favorite: the Kyliegh Jacket.

“The Kyleigh Jacket was already a DDR staple,” said Claire. “But Ella rocked it like no one else has before! The Kyleigh was one of our debut Silver Label designs. It's designed with python and raccoon - the most awesome of combinations.”
