Miscellaneous, Key Tassel, Horsehair, Hand Hitched, Montana Prison, 250
Keychains have always been a fun collectible.
These southwestern style tassels were hand-hitched by inmates in Montana State Prison. According to the History of Hitched Horse Hair, “It was the first hobby at Montana State Prison, dating back to the territorial prison in Deer Lodge. Charlie Russell, the famous western artist, wrote about men down at Deer Lodge ‘twistin hairs’.” We recently acquired four of them, so get yourself one -- and why not one for your S.O. or BFF to match?
