Almost 100 years old!
Cochiti drums are double-sided drums that are commonly associated with Pueblo Indians of the New Mexico region (although, fun fact: they were introduced by the Spaniards). These drums are handcrafted from fallen tree trunks or branches that have had the centers carved out, and are hand-painted with a colorful design, and rawhide is stretched over each end. And this particular 7”x7” vintage beauty dates all the way back to the 1930s!
