Madeline, though now retired, was considered a premier Zuni jewelry maker in the 1960s, known for her inlay work, corn maidens, and bolos. On this beautiful vintage bracelet, Madeline has crafted the Eagle Dancer figure using channel inlay of varying beautiful shades of natural turquoise. Etched turquoise gives the dancer a three dimensional effect. The stones are set in sterling silver and affixed to a two-bar band in an openwork design that incorporates the negative space. The dancer is flanked on either side by turquoise inlay marquis, framed with sterling silver drops. Intricate and unique, this eye-catching bracelet is certainly a collector.
