ARTISAN STACKER.

This sleek leather-lined silver cuff bracelet is a contemporary creation by renowned artisan Charlie Favour featuring an orange spiny oyster stone in the center row of inlaid turquoise stones, framed by twist wire detail and chic silver bars. Beautiful stacker for both guys and gals.

A note about Charlie: Charlie Favour was born in 1950 in Prescott, Arizona. While growing up around ranches and rodeos, he began braiding when he was 11 years old. In 1970, Charlie started doing leatherwork professionally by opening a leather and Native American art store in Aspen, Colorado.

In 1980 he settled in Northern New Mexico where he engaged in the fly fishing business and continued his leathercraft. Throughout his career, Charlie has been a serious student of all aspects of Native American crafts as well as the leatherwork of the old-time cowboys.   He has achieved a high degree of expertise in many areas of work including Native American footwear, beadwork, hand-tanning hides, traditional western tooling, and braiding.

Charlie’s work can be found in fine custom cowboy galleries throughout the country. His bracelets are worn by both men and women. All of Charlie’s pieces are handcrafted and all his materials are of superior, genuine quality.

Charlie Favour (1950-; Anglo). Row bracelets; mosaic channel inlay; leather backing on some pieces.
