When you are on a  junking spree, you never know what treasures you will turn up!  Here is a collection of three pairs, (six total) fur trade brooches in graduating sizes.  Each pair is different with cut out designs and a center pin attachment.  

Fur trade brooches were often traded to Native American Indians for use in handicrafts, blankets, and beadwork in exchange for fur pelts.See Martha Hamilton’s illustrated reference book for similar pieces:Silver in the Fur Trade, 1680 - 1820.
