Check out this incredible artifact!

The piece is constructed of thick Indian tanned Great American Buffalo Bison hide with sinew sewn early glass trade seed beads in a traditional geometric linear pattern and iconic Cheyenne tabs. The beads include colors of greasy yellow, greasy Cheyenne pink white hearts, cobalt, greasy white, medium green, blue, and semi-transparent red. The piece shows many rolled tin jingle dangle cones tied to Indian hide with red and yellow dyed horse tail hair fringes. The bag dates to the Indian Reservation Period, which can loosely be dated to circa 1890-1950s. The bag has a supple soft hide and little-to-no bead loss and includes the original Indian hide top strap and fringes. The piece is stuffed with stripped whicker and the bag displays very well.
