Bolo, Bull, Novelty, Hallmark, Vintage, '70s, 1026
This bolo is bad*ss and that's no bull!
This awesome accessory is a 1970s era vintage piece crafted by the late Jack Mahkee, a renowned Zuni jewelry artisan who was widely known for his figural inlay work, particularly his horse bolos. This one, however, is on the bovine side. This slide is a depiction of a bull standing in grass, created with polished stones of shell and turquoise, with matching bull's heads dangling from the sterling silver aiguillettes on the braided leather cord. It's definitely unique and impossible to ignore-- we can just picture it stealing the show at the rodeo or livestock show.
