Ladders are a significant part of Zuni culture. From their origins of climbing out of the Grand Canyon to the intricate labyrinth of houses with rooms reached only by ladders,  this simple feature is seen in both architecture and jewelry.

They represent the Zuni ladder and feature sterling silver paddles symbolizing rain - both significant elements to the Zuni People.  Set with turquoise stones, the silver rungs are spaced with links to add movement to the piece when worn.
