Belt, A Vintage, Concho, 3rd Phase Revival, Turquoise, Sterling Silver, 696

Size Guide
Quick History on Third Phase Concho Belts: In the early 1900s turquoise rough from Colorado and Nevada mines became abundant and silversmiths quickly adapted the sky stone into their jewelry. Starting in 1910, the introduction of the vertical butterflies between the conchos first appeared and was soon followed by linked concho belts in the 1920s.

Double D Ranch is pleased to offer this Third Phase Revival Concho belt.  Though not from the early 1900’s this belt is part of a revival seen in the 1970s.  Hand wrought in sterling silver and set with turquoise stones, this belt features six oval conchos positioned between seven butterfly spacers. A domed rectangular buckle features traditional stamp work and stones.

This belt is lightweight and smaller in scale.
